Industry recognition of the Network API platform continues, with a place on the shortlist at one of telecoms’ leading awards programmes.
BRUSSELS – October 8, 2026 – Proximus Global, the leading digital communications company, has seen its Konera platform shortlisted for the 2026 Glotel Awards in the ‘MVNO Solution of the Year’ category. Konera builds on BICS’ long track record of helping MVNOs launch and scale globally, extending that connectivity heritage into network APIs so MVNOs can now monetize the network as well as connect to it.
Organized by Telecoms.com, the Glotel Awards celebrate excellence and innovation across the global telecoms industry, with the 2026 winners to be announced at a ceremony in London on 1 December.
Konera is a unified network API aggregation platform built around the GSMA CAMARA framework. The platform aggregates, structures and standardizes network capabilities from mobile operators worldwide, making them accessible through scalable API integrations. These network capabilities and signals are made available to external wholesale partners, while also reaching enterprise customers through Proximus Global’s enterprise-facing businesses, for example through fraud prevention and digital identity use cases. This model gives Proximus Global direct ownership of its routes to market through its own brands. Unlike consortium models that rely on partners to drive adoption and sales, Proximus Global controls its own go-to-market strategy and demand generation activities.
Commenting on the shortlisting, Jaymy Teh, CPO Connect, Proximus Global, said: “We are proud to see Konera recognized at the Glotel Awards for MVNO Solution of the Year. This shortlisting reflects the value of our network API platform and our commitment to giving MVNOs the tools they need to differentiate their services and grow, from identity and verification to new revenue opportunities. Congratulations to our fellow finalists.”
This latest recognition continues a successful 2026 awards season for Konera, which won a MEFFY in the ‘Mobile Evolution’ category and a Carrier Community Global Award for Best Application Service Provider, and was shortlisted at the Global Connectivity Awards.
