Industry recognition of the Konera Network API platform continues, with the platform shortlisted for the Best Network Technology & Software Development prize at the Global Connectivity Awards.
Brussels, 27 August 2026 – Proximus Global, the leading digital communications company, has seen its Konera platform nominated for another technology award, this time making the shortlist for the 2026 Global Connectivity Awards in the ‘Best Network Technology & Software Development’ category.
Konera is a unified network API aggregation platform built around the GSMA CAMARA framework. It was launched in October 2025 to combining the strengths of Telesign, BICS, and Route Mobile, under Proximus Global. The platform brings together network API products from operators around the world, making it easier for enterprise developers to integrate network services, such as ID and verification services, directly into their products and processes. Network APIs provide new revenue streams for operators, and Proximus Global helps operators enter this market and build more sustainable growth opportunities.
The Global Connectivity Awards are among the leading celebrations of achievement and innovation in telecoms and digital infrastructure. For over two decades, the awards have honored companies and individuals shaping the future of global connectivity. The 2026 winners will be announced at a ceremony on October 14 at the O2 in London, during Capacity Europe 2026.
